The Hindi play is a family drama come comedy about the pains of children growing up… for parents. The play revolves around a doting dad who doesn’t want to make peace with the inevitable… that his beloved daughter has grown up, fallen in love and now plans to get married. And while the daughter (and her mother) are all set to prepare for the wedding, the father tries his best to stop it. Yes, we know that there are some “influences” from the Hollywood movie ‘Father Of The Bride’, but the play does have some good laughs none the less.
