Chill Out, It’s Ice Cream Day!

This Sunday is international ice-cream day. We tracked down the best places in Bandra where you can celebrate with scoop of your favourite flavour.

GOKUL REFRESHMENTS: Gokul’s ice-cream is quite different from everyone else’s. Not only is it hand made, it’s also made from buffalo’s milk. A nice place to stop by for a quick scoop. BASKIN ROBINS: Always a favourite, with its many outlets and tantalizing flavours. The service here is helpful and the best part is they let you taste the flavour of your choice before you buy it.

SNOW BITE: After a walk down Bandstand, you should stop by this place. It’s a bit tiny but it makes up for it with some amazingly good ice-creams and sundaes. Try their anjeer and roasted almond. Their Snowbite special is a must have too.

NATURAL’S: You’ll find Shahrukh Khan is a regular here, with his kids dragging him in. Its strategic location also makes it a favourite with the college and school crowds. The staff is pleasant and very helpful. Try their sitaphal and butterscotch.

HOKEY POKEY: This truly unique ice-cream parlour lets you create your own mix of ice-cream with your favourite toppings. You can watch as they mix it for you on an ice-cold slab of stone. They also have a very comfy indoor and outdoor décor, perfect for a group of friends to get together and chill out. Try their Manic Monkey and Knight in Armor creations.
